      Today, I become 19 years old! My family usually c erebrate my birthday by making cakes or eat out but first time in my life, I'm living alone so my birthday is celebrated just messages and phone call. Though I'm glad just as that.😀😀 Also some of my friends sent me some messages. Especially messages from my friends in Nara made me feel like going back to Nara... I'm looking forward to meeting my friends in Nara in this winter! 

      Today, I listened to a podcast ''やさしい英語会話(363)A Trip to India''.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysJzOfwSDSg In this podcast, they told the difference of pronunciation between India and the USA. For example, the pronunciation ''th'' changes ''d'' in India. I don't know that. When I listened to the pronunciation spoken by Joe, I found the difference of pronunciation clearly. Also, in this podcast, chai that is traditional India's drink was showed. I like chai! When I go to curry shop, I always drink chai! In Kuroshe, Higashihiroshima, there is a curry shop and I go there once a month.  

    Today, I ate swiss roll with lemon made in Kure.😋 The name of it is ''Ocho-limen cake''. Though I don't like cream so much, this was different than what I was expecting! The cream tastes like lemon and a plain-tasting. It is better nice if I eat it with tea. I heard Yutakamachi is famous for lemon and orange. Yutakamachi is located in Kure. In winter, I often eat orange called ''Ocho-mikan''. It is very sweet and once I eat it, I can't stop eating!! I'm looking forward to eating that orange in this winter.

      Last weekend, I went to Kurahashi in Kure. I posted the same topics on Facebook so I want you to see it too! By the way, I'll post the picture of the beautiful sea taken by my grandfather . He has SLR and he takes pictures better than I though I usually take pictures with my own iPhone. With my iPhone, I can't zoom in the object because the zoomed picture isn't clear. But, when he takes photos using the zoom function with his SLR, the picture is clear and beautiful. Also, the shining sea can be taken by using SLR. Some day, I want to buy a SLR, learn how to use it by my grandfather and try to take some pictures!  

    I read this article in this morning. < https://variety.com/2020/film/news/fast-and-furious-franchise-ending-justin-lin-1234811481/>  In this site, they say the main ''Fast and Furious'' franchise will come to an end with film No.11. Actually, this does not mean that movie will come to an end.  I knew this series by a famous songs ''Good Life'' that is main song of ''Fast and Furious 8''. I'll put the link. Please listen this YouTube! <https://youtu.be/FG9M0aEpJGE>  Also this picture is the main poster ''Fast and Furious 8''. After I watched ''Fast and Furious 8'', I was into this series. This movie started in 2001 and in 2021, season 9 will be playing! I'm really looking forward it! I felt sad to hear the main ''Fast and Furious'' will come to an end but I'm so excited because I can't image how to become at the end of that movie!   

       It's been a long time since I've eaten ramen noodles. I went to Nagahama Ramen. At the restaurant, I can select some kinds of tastes of noodles and how hard the noodles are. There are four options about that. I ordered Nagahama Ramen and gyoza. This is the recommendation at the place. Because I like tonkotsu ramen, I loved it! Every Tuesday, we can try free refill but I was full at the end of eating. Some customer ordered refill and I thought most of the people who ordered refill came today because Tuesday's refill was free of charge! Though I went to this place in Kure, maybe there are same restaurant in Saijo so if you want to eat them, you can try them in Saijo.         

     Last Friday, I went to Karaoke with my two friends after dinner. I had never gone to Karaoke late at night so I was so excited! I've wanted to try it for a long time though I usually go to bed before 24:00. I thought I would be sleepy but once we began to sing songs, we enjoyed a lot! We sang many kinds of songs each other. We had a great time. Next time, I want to go another place!          

      Today, I'll show you my grandparents' dog, D almatian. My grandparents live in Kure, Hiroshima so I often go to there and meet so cute dog! She is 11 years old. Her name is AI. When I call her name at the gate, she is coming running toward me wagging its tale.  She loves playing ball! When I go the garden and hold a ball which is her favorite, she jumps up to catch it. She is very smart too. After the sun is rising and getting worm, she carries her blanket out from the dog house. And of course, she takes home it after the sun set. I can't believe that because I thought the dogs couldn't carry anything without human help. I hope AI stay around for a long time!

     Yesterday, I made Okonomiyaki with my friend. For me, this was the first time to make it by myself because I always ate Okonomiyaki at the restaurant. At the first, we went to ''Yume Town'' and bought some materials for making Okonomiyaki. For example, flour, okonomiyaki-flour, of course, and bacons, pork, nagaimo and source. Though I didn't know that nagaimo went well with okonomiyaki, my fiend recommended that. After the shopping, we began to make it. While making it, we talked a lot about our high school, club activities and so on. We could know each other very well. When we cooked it, the smell of it made us very hungry. After the Okonomiyaki was ready, we ate. The taste was so good and thought that we would like to make again!     

     Today I listened to a podcast called “It's Important to Be Honest during Interviews”. They talked about getting a part time jobs. 10 Key Words: half-way, janitor, confident, get off one's chest, sweaty, anxiety      The man was sweaty because of anxiety. He had a job interviews and said that he left the shop without paying a snacks but, he found that things on the half-way his home. And than, a janitor was surprised to hear that so she asked the man why he said that. The man said because he thought this was the lie-detector and he always thought he would like to get off his chest.

I visited Sera Kogen Farm to see dahlia with my grandparents. In fact, Sera is famous for some fruit production so on the way to Sera Kogen Farm, we went to ''Yama no eki'' to buy some pears. I was very surprised the pears size! Almost all the pears are so big! Maybe we can't see that size at the supermarket. I can't wait to eat it! Then, we went to Sera Kogen Farm. I couldn't feel the fragrance of dahlias well because of a mask. But, the scenery was beautiful and colorful. There are various of dahlias as far as the eye could see.  We may think there are not so many kinds of flower colors, but in Sera Kogen Farm, I could see many kinds of flower patterns. For example, wine red, brilliant red, pink and white, yellow, orange... It's hard to explain by words.       I was moved to see such a wonderful dahlias.  

 My favorite character is ''Snoopy'' because he is absolutely adorable! He first appeared in Peanuts on October 2, 1950. At that time, he walked with four legs just like ordinary dogs and his appearance was quite different in 1950s compared to now. Recently, I'm really into 1950s Snoopy. So I want to buy ''Snoopy Comic Selection 50's'' which is the collection of Peanuts comics in 1950s as soon as possible. In Universal Studious Japan, there are some Snoopy attractions, goods and also we can enjoy taking photos with Snoopy and his friends if we're lucky enough. But, due to the corona virus, we can't take photos with them at a short distance. I hope the day we can completely enjoy these things will come soon.   This comic strip is the first appearance of Snoopy.
