Kimetsu no Yaiba

イメージ
Maybe I should have watched the movie, "Kimetsu no Yaiba" earlier but, finally I watched it yesterday! I was totally out of fashion. Recently, I watched the recording of Kimetsu no Yaiba for the first time. At first, I didn't think I was into it though a lmost all of the people were addicted to it. Once I watched it on TV, I regret watching it earlier though I can't tell what make me to feel like that clearly. Soon after having watched it, I wanted to watch the movie of Kimetsu noYaiba. I was moved the last scene. The story of the film touched my heart. Also, the theme song, "Homura" sung by Lisa was so good. It was different from the music programs on TV. I heard that Nara prefecture is the stage of Anime. Nara is my hometown so I was surprised. I didn't know the anime, Kimetsu no Yaiba was set in Nara. According to my mother, when I was a baby, my parents went to there though I didn't remember.

Tamukeyama Hachimangu

イメージ
Yesterday, I went to "Tamukeyama Hachimangu" in Nara. I came back to my hometown, Nara so I went to there. I went to there for the first time, though it was near the Todaiji-temple. In Tamukeyama Hachimangu, there was a stone mon ument that was written one of the Hundred Poems by one Hundred Poets, called "Ogura Hyakunin Isshu" in Japan. On the stone monument, there was Sugawara Michizane's poems. I didn't know one of the Hundred Poems by one Hundred Poets were here. I didn't like history, but once I watched some historical things by chance, I thought it was so interesting.

Animal Crossing

イメージ
In my free time, I often play Animal Crossing with my Nintendo Switch. In fact, I haven't played the series of Animal Crossing because I didn't have DS or 3DS. I started this game last August. In this game, we make our own island as we like. As the game progresses, residents come our island. The residents are all animal character. Only player is a human. At fast, I thought I would feel boring soon, but I played this game almost every day!! But, as the final test gets closer, I have to refrain from playing game every day...

YouTube "レオナルドディカプリオで英会話を学ぼう"

イメージ
I listened to this YouTube. I like YouTube like this and often watch. In this YouTube, Rupa sensei who is a owner of this channel showed the part of the movie and we can learn what the actor said or what grammar are used. Also, I think the listening ability is improved. YouTube that I watched today is the part of "The Great Gatsby". I could learn this phrase, "to pop in(into) ~" means "to go somewhere". In the movie, Leonardo DiCaprio said "I just have to pop into town", but this phrase was so fast. Especially, "I just have to". According to Rupa sensei, this phrase is sound like "I-jus-hafta". Also, I heard the pronunciation "pop into" is sound like "pop-inta". I felt it is difficult to understand the movie that is only used in English, but I'd like to watch some foreign movies that had watched before in Japanese.

YouTube "Nice to meet youはもう言わない?!今すぐ使える新しい「初めまして」!〔#914〕"

イメージ
I watched this YouTube. Maybe, I always use "Nice to meet you". So, I learned so much from this YouYube. I could learn a lot of greeting expressions. For example, we can use the phrase, "It's nice to connect." when we use Zoom. When we meet each other, we can use "It's nice to take to you face-to-face." In case of talking with our client, it's good to use this phrase, "Thank you for your inquiry.", "Thank you for setting up this call." or "Thank you for making time for this call." Depending on a lot of situations, we can use various kinds of greeting expressions.

The final episode of ''VS ARASHI"

イメージ
Yesterday, the variety show, "VS ARASHI" by a popular group Arashi reached its final episode, ending the history of about 13 years. One year ago, Arashi which is one of the most famous idol groups in Japan announced that they will go on hiatus at the end of 2020. I've watched "VS ARASHI" every Thursday since I was 10 years old. And of course, I love Arashi. I understood well about "VS ARASHI" would end, but I got a feeling of loss. In the final "VS ARASHI", Arashi and the guest member fought a battle in five games, but the team Arashi lost. I believed the team Arashi would win. But at last, Kazunari Ninomiya laughed positively, "But this is Arashi. It's Arashi that everyone gets excited about." When I heard this, I really felt that I loved Arashi after all. "This is Arashi", I would never forget these words.

Tonight, Jupiter And Saturn Will Appear Closer

Jupiter and Saturn are about to get closer to each other in Earth's night sky than they have been for nearly 400 years! Last night, I watched the sky and could see Jupiter and Saturn. They were in the s outhwest and lined up vertically, the bottom was blighted Jupiter and  the top was Saturn, which was darker than Jupiter. Though I tried to take photos on my iPhone, Saturn didn't appear clearly in the photo... According to the article, t he celestial synchronisation has been in the works since summer as Jupiter and Saturn have been moving closer together in the night sky, and between 16-25 December, they'll be separated by only 1/5th the diameter of a full moon. Tonight, I will see the sky!

Good Movie, "Titanic"

A movie that I really liked was "Titanic". It was released in 1997. The main performers in the movie were Kate Winslet as Rose DeWitt Bukater and Leonardo DiCaprio as Jack Dawson. It was written and directed by James Cameron. Also, Titanic won the 1997 Academy Award for Best Original Song, Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography. Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, and Gloria Stuart were also nominees.       The vast Titanic set was constructed, in 100 days, as a fully-functioning studio at Rosarito Beach, 18 miles south of   Tijuana  on the Mexican coast of Baja California, though not without a wave of protest from local residents. The facility remains as the Baja Studios, claiming to be the world's largest stages and filming tanks.    Last spring vacation, I watched Titanic for the first time. I was so moved. I've already known a rough story, but there were a lot of stories that I didn't know. As this movie was based on a true sto...

One Day Trip

イメージ
The other day, I drove to Osaki-kamijima Island and enjoyed the hot spring in Seihukan. When I was a baby, I went there with my family. Though I didn't remember it, my mother told me so. I drove my grandmother's car and used a car ferry for the first time! The Seihukan hotel was far from the port, but the scenery was good. Also, the hot spring was good. It included salt so I felt refreshed. After enjoying the hot spring, I ate "kaisen-gozen". The sashimi was very fresh. Next time, I would like to go to "Mimata-onsen" in Shimane.

Ariana Grande

イメージ
Today, I listened to "break free" sung by Ariana Grande. When I was 16 years old, I was really into Ariana Grande and recently, I listened to this song on TV. Still, I like this song and Ariana's singing voice. I have some more recommended songs sung by Ariana Grande so I'll show you from now on.

Bilingual Baby YouTube

イメージ
I listened to " バイリンガル5歳児クリスマス1日密着 ". I showed this YouTube the previous Blogger. Basically, they speak English, and if there are some difficult words, they show the meaning of them. In this YouTube, they are preparing for Christmas! When I was an elementary school student, I decorated some ornaments for Christmas so this YouTube reminded me of this memory...

The first time Orchestra

Yesterday, I went to Hiroshima city to join the orchestra as a violin player with some of the club members of Hiroshima University Symphony Orchestra. This time was the first to join the orchestra for me so I was a little nervous. Once the orchestra began, I could really enjoy it. The sound of every instrument was so good. I thought I should more and more practice!

Learn English With Harry Potter

Today, I listened to Learn English With Harry Potter on YouTube. I found 8 difficult words from this YouTube.  8 words : rudimentary; levitation; wrist; swish; flick; enunciate; off you go; go on Then, I'll write one paragraph using 8 difficult words. In this YouTube, the youtuber showed one of the scene in "Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone". Flitwick who was a teacher at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry showed how to make object fly. He told the students one of a wizard's most rudimentary skills was levitation. He said ''Don't forget the nice wrist movement''. ''The swish and flick''. We have to say this word enunciate. After his explanation, he said ''Off you go then'' and the students began to practice it but no one could do it because everyone have never practiced before. When Ron practiced, Hermione pointed out his enunciation ''Leviosa''. Then, Ron said to Hermione '...

Day trip

Yesterday, I went to ''Kousanji-temple'' in Onomichi. I have wanted to go ''The hill of hope'' that is called ''Miraishin no oka'' in Japan so I was so excited! According to the announcement in there, that was designed and created over a period of 16 years by Itto Kuetani who was active in Italy. There were many photo spots. The white cararra marble and the blue sky and the blue see were beautiful. The contrast was  attractive.

Autumn leaves

イメージ
Yesterday, I went to Hiroshima city and watched the autumn leaves. In Hiroshima University, the autumn leaves are very beautiful but, in Hiroshima city, it seems that leaves will start changing color soon. Especially when I watched the mountain, the color of it was still green. According to my research in the Internet, autumn leaves are related to the temperature difference.

Freshmen welcome party

Yesterday, I had a welcome party of Hiroshima University Symphony Orchestra. Usually, that welcome party is held in May but this year that is held as a video conference. At the recreation, the freshmen separated some groups and visited the senior groups a lternately. In each group, we introduced ourselves such as name, the factory, this is of course, own hometown, habits and so on. I could know a lot about other person and also felt I wanted to practice the violin hard and joined the orchestra as soon as possible! Because of Covid-19, I heard some events were called off but we had a great time with our seniors.

My Birthday!

Today, I become 19 years old! My family usually c erebrate my birthday by making cakes or eat out but first time in my life, I'm living alone so my birthday is celebrated just messages and phone call. Though I'm glad just as that.😀😀 Also some of my friends sent me some messages. Especially messages from my friends in Nara made me feel like going back to Nara... I'm looking forward to meeting my friends in Nara in this winter!

やさしい英語会話(363)A Trip to India

イメージ
Today, I listened to a podcast ''やさしい英語会話(363)A Trip to India''.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysJzOfwSDSg In this podcast, they told the difference of pronunciation between India and the USA. For example, the pronunciation ''th'' changes ''d'' in India. I don't know that. When I listened to the pronunciation spoken by Joe, I found the difference of pronunciation clearly. Also, in this podcast, chai that is traditional India's drink was showed. I like chai! When I go to curry shop, I always drink chai! In Kuroshe, Higashihiroshima, there is a curry shop and I go there once a month.

lemon cake

イメージ
Today, I ate swiss roll with lemon made in Kure.😋 The name of it is ''Ocho-limen cake''. Though I don't like cream so much, this was different than what I was expecting! The cream tastes like lemon and a plain-tasting. It is better nice if I eat it with tea. I heard Yutakamachi is famous for lemon and orange. Yutakamachi is located in Kure. In winter, I often eat orange called ''Ocho-mikan''. It is very sweet and once I eat it, I can't stop eating!! I'm looking forward to eating that orange in this winter.
